Happy Birthday, Kyle!

Today is Kyle's 33rd birthday.  We celebrated with friends last night and went to Tulsa for the JJ Grey and Mofro concert.  We met at our house and headed out.  We got there and had dinner before the concert.  It was in a small venue, so we were right up in front of the stage.  We all had a great time!  Although, it was a long drive home!  We didn't get home until 2 a.m. and then everyone else still had to drive home.  I know those who had to work this morning are dragging!

This morning, Ellie and I made Kyle breakfast in bed . . . biscuits and gravy, bacon, and coffee . . . and took him his presents.  He is playing golf this afternoon, so I'd guess he's going to have a good birthday.  While he's golfing, Ellie and I are going to make roast, potatoes, carrots, and mixed berry cobbler for his birthday dinner. Unfortunately, he's not a cake guy . . . I wish he was!

Happy Birthday, Babe!  We love you so much!

*Btw . . . these pics are a little out of order since I'm not used to the new format for the blog.

Easter 2012

My computer was gone for 8 days due to a virus! But, she's back and I have A LOT of catching up to do! First of all, EASTER!

The weekend before Easter, we went to the Easter egg hunt at the Mustang Community Center. Ellie touched a snake!

She spotted Grandma making her way through the crowd!

Ellie and her big cousin, Haven

Ellie couldn't quite remember how the egg hunt thing worked, so Haven helped her out.

However, it didn't take her long to remember how to open eggs and find the candy!

Love this look!

Look at all that Easter fun!

Look at those sweet cousins!

My little beauty

With 2 egg hunts under her belt, she's an old pro now! She'd pick up an egg, shake it, and put it in her basket if she heard something. If it seemed empty she'd say, "There's not something in here!' Also, we were not allowed to help her get eggs or even get near them.

Sometimes she had to stop and check them out before she moved on.

Look at all those eggs! Ellie's already after a Reese's cup.

I love this pic! I love how her hair is starting to curl, how cute she looked in her dress, and how she insisted on carrying her basket even though it weighed more than she does.

We had a wonderful Easter this year!
